Tell us more about yourself!

  • My name is Jennifer and I’m a web developer by day and blog on nights and weekends at FabFatale.com writing daily from The Sunshine State.

What are your passions?

  • My passions include what I blog about most, nail art, cooking, and photography – although I’m a rookie getting to know my manual settings at the moment.

Please tell us a little more about your DIY and how you involved PostalPix!

  • I was searching the web for a service that would print my square Instagram prints for my DIY Wall Art and came across PostalPix.  Not only do they print square pics, but I can upload the pics directly from my phone via the PostalPix app, checkout at a very affordable price, and get the pics in the mail just a few days later.  I take so many pics of my baby, that I also use PostalPix to print my 4×6 iPhone pics and send them directly to the grandmas. For my cork frames, I was really looking for a way to display my Instagram pics, but couldn’t find any square frames.  I believe I saw an ad somewhere a while back, maybe by PostalPics, that featured a similar frame.  I ran to my kitchen for a knife and some corks, and 30 seconds later, I had the cutest little frame for my fav Instagram print.  3 minutes later, I had a bookcase featuring several of my cork frames and pics.

Instructions:

  • Lengthwise, and so so carefully, cut off the bottom 1/4 of the cork.
  • Next, lay the cork on the flat bottom you just cut out, and then in the same direction, cut into the cork about a 1/3 of the way through.
